Film Video Digital is a studio for all forms of moving images: motion picture film, videotape and digital video. Services are delivered on broadcast-grade equipment backed by years of digital moving image experience. Its customers range from film and television professionals working in HD, to family historians with shoeboxes of long-forgotten films. Owner John Tariot brings his expertise as a digital video professional and motion picture archivist to every project. He has created thousands of digital images during his career building online archives for NBC News, National Geographic, Paramount Pictures, ABCNEWS, and many others. John's career also includes work as a broadcast television editor and producer, serving on the Advisory Committee for the human rights archive WITNESS, and on the Advisory Board for the broadcast-industry bible POST Magazine. He is a lifetime member of the Association of Moving Image Archivists, a member of Apple's Developer Community, and is a supporter of the American Film Institute. Film Video Digital is a service of Moving Image Group LLC., a consultancy focused on developing digital business strategies for moving image archives: 1.) Digital video database design & user-interface analysis, 2.) Investment and payoff calculations for digitization, storage, access, hardware and database design, and 3.) Footage valuation & licensing.
